The Center for Advanced Policing helps to identify and provide guidance on new and better practices in policing.

The Center for Analytics (CFA) is a hub of sponsored research within the University of New Haven’s Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences. Dedicated to providing students the opportunity to use data to study complex issues within the fields of criminal justice, national security, international political science, and data science, the CFA employs 100 students through paid research positions.

The Center for Forensic Investigations of Trafficking in Persons helps combat the crime of modern-day slavery through increasing the number of convictions of perpetrators, while enhancing support services rendered to victims of human trafficking.

The University of New Haven is a partner of the Engineering and Science University Magnet School, a New Haven inter-district school with a college preparatory theme that emphasizes principles of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for grades 6 through 12. The school is located on the west corner of the University’s campus.

Named in honor of world-renowned forensic scientist Dr. Henry C. Lee, the Institute links scholars, researchers, students, forensic scientists, law enforcement, the legal community, and professional practitioners in many fields to address the scientific and social issues confronting the forensic science community and the criminal justice system throughout the world.

The University of New Haven is part of the Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network, a national partnership of universities with the shared mission of graduating engineers with an entrepreneurial mindset.

The Nonprofit Institute provides educational resources, mentoring, partnerships, and collaborative spaces to nonprofit firms and social enterprises in the Greater New Haven area.

The office draws on the talent and experience of the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences and its practitioners who have extensive experience working internationally and serving as consultants for criminal justice and security professionals from around the world.

Supported by the Davis Educational Foundation, the Project to Integrate Technical Communication Habits initiative is an innovative effort designed to improve the technical communications skills of engineering graduates.

The University of New Haven is the affiliate university in Connecticut for Project Lead the Way, a national program uniting public schools, higher-education institutions, and the private sector to increase the quantity and quality of engineers and engineering technologists graduating from our education system.

The Center for Teaching Excellence supports the advancement of teaching and learning at the University of New Haven. By serving as an easily accessible and centralized resource for our faculty to leverage for their development as instructors, the Center fosters our academic programs' use of innovative and inclusive pedagogy that attracts and engages students.

A University, state, and private partnership, the Tow Institute leads the way in juvenile justice reform through collaborative planning and policy development, training, research, and advocacy efforts. 

The Center responds to the need for scientifically and forensically robust research in the area of wildlife crimes. The Center has grown steadily since its creation and is now gaining recognition for the work that is being done by its members.
