About Sam

Sam (she/they) obtained her Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of New Haven and is currently working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. Imbued with a passion for helping others, Sam has half a decade of experience working with various populations and diverse communities. In addition to working with anxiety, depression, life transitions, family dynamics, and trauma, she also has experience working in a residential setting with eating disorders. Her treatment approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community. Sam works with her clients in an eclectic manner, drawing upon her extensive training in diverse clinical settings. Her goal is to provide each client with a safe space to cultivate self-reflection, self-love, honesty, and confidence. Laughter is a must, expression through art is encouraged, and trivia about The Office is welcomed.
