Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM)

The University of New Haven’s chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) focuses on building the professional skills of students who seek to gain experience in the fields of business and/or organizational development. The chapter hosts workshops, fundraisers, and speakers aimed at enhancing a student’s educational experience. The chapter includes students who are pursuing a master’s degree in business administration, industrial/organizational psychology, and other graduate programs. It is run by 13 student executive board members. SHRM is recognized in more than 165 countries, and it offers membership and certifications to help make students top candidates in their fields of choice.
