Are You Ready To Be A Charger?

As a member of Charger Nation, you will participate in countless transformational learning experiences that will help you discover and deepen your passions and achieve more than you ever thought possible. Your success starts here.

Our Students Come First

Our students come first at University of New Haven – and that includes our prospective students, too! We are excited to meet and continue getting to know our next group of Future Chargers and their families. The safety of our prospective students and their families, as well as our campus community, is a top priority for us. So, while our admissions programs may look a little different this year, we are still just as excited to connect with you and your family:

Explore the University of New Haven virtually. While our virtual visits are jam-packed with content, we also include options for us to get to know you better. Our admissions counselors offer virtual interviews, information sessions with live campus tours, and more. We’re also spending time this fall visiting high schools and community colleges – all virtually this year! Plus, our faculty and deans join in at our Open House events and major-specific programs so that you can hear from the experts about your intended academic program.

Come see our campus. When it’s safe for us to do so, we’d love to welcome you in person! We regularly keep tabs on the everchanging conditions of the pandemic – so be sure to check out our main visit page for the latest status of our on-campus visits. Currently, these options include one-on-one visits for a meeting with a counselor and a tour, as well as our popular drive-thru campus tour option.

We want to answer your questions. Whether you're looking for more information about your academic program, would like to find out when we may be visiting your school, need to learn more about living on campus, or hope to discuss the cost of attendance, you have a direct contact in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions that can begin to address those concerns. Contact us to set up a phone call, a Zoom session, or even send us a text to get the conversation started.

We're right there with you. Just like you are, we're adjusting to working from home and understand the challenges that come with interacting virtually. We appreciate your willingness to connect with us online. We are brainstorming new ways to bring Charger Nation to you digitally, and we are excited to announce some new virtual opportunities for our future Chargers that will include ways to connect with our faculty, staff, and current students.

Let's talk about deadlines. We cannot wait to receive your application for admission. For new, first-time students, we offer one binding form of admission and three non-binding ways to apply. Non-binding Early Action admission is our most popular choice – so be sure to mark your calendars with our December 15 deadline. Transfer and part-time applicants can take advantage or our rolling admission policy and, like first-time students, can look forward to hearing from us soon! Our team of admissions counselors is here to help, so don’t hesitate to share any questions you may have!
