All Girls Math

This academy is open enrollment.

This 1-week experience will introduce participants to the various ways in which robots can contribute to society. Explore fields like transportation, healthcare, environmental, and home consumer products. Participants will actively build and program a variety of robots and automated devices, participate in design challenges, and ultimately showcase their creations! No programming or robotics experience is necessary for this experience, just bring your creativity and passion.

By the end of the weekend, students will have explored:

  • Lego NXT programming
  • Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity and capabilities
  • Introduction to circuits and motors
  • Arduino programming
  • Human-Centered Design

Requirements:

  • Must be entering 9th-12th grades for the 2020-21 school year.
