End of semester important dates!
The end of the Spring semester is upon us. Here are some important upcoming dates to remember!
- Wednesday, May 4: Reading Day (No Classes)
- Thursday, May 5 – Wednesday, May 11: Exams
- Wednesday, May 11: End of term
- Thursday, May 12: Residence halls close at 10 a.m.
- Sunday, May 15: Spring 2022 Commencement at Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater

Don't miss blackbear at night two of Chargerpalooza!
Don't miss night two of Chargerpalooza! On Friday, April 29, musical artist blackbear will perform on campus!
Students can register for a ticket here.
Enter your student ID number (without the “00”) when prompted to reserve your spot, and register your ticket with your University email address.
The concert will be held at the North Campus parking lot. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m.
Tonight is night one of Chargerpalooza, where Sleepy Hallow is performing at 8 p.m.
Chargerpalooza is being put on by the University of New Haven Student Committee of Programming Events (SCOPE). More reminders about the event are on myCharger.

Spring Fest & Spring Week Carnival THIS SATURDAY!
Do you have any plans on Saturday? Take a break from studying, and celebrate the end of the Spring semester with two great events happening on campus!
- Stop by Spring Fest in the Bixler/Gerber Quad on Saturday, April 30, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a variety of activities and entertainment!
- Then, hit up the Spring Week Carnival in the North Campus parking lot, from 4 - 9 p.m. Check out different food trucks, rides, games, giveaways, music, and the human claw!

Spring 2022 Honors Program Senior Thesis Presentations
You’re invited to attend the Spring 2022 Honors Program Senior Thesis Presentations!
The honors thesis is a year-long research project that represents the final requirement for graduation as an honors scholar.
Honors students and their thesis advisors have worked very hard over the last year (or more) to push the boundaries of knowledge in their fields, and now they are ready to share their results!

Don't forget about Midnight Breakfast next week!
Fuel up for finals by stopping by Midnight Breakfast, on Tuesday, May 3, from 8 - 10 p.m., in the Bartels Campus Center Marketplace.
For those who don't know, Midnight Breakfast is a Charger tradition put on by the Center for Student Engagement, Leadership, and Orientation (CSELO) and University Dining where students can enjoy a “late night” breakfast and “charge up” with friends ahead of final exams!

Students to host benefit concert for local nonprofit
On Wednesday, May 4, students in the MIND 2263 Live Concert Planning & Promotion course are hosting a benefit concert.
The concert, being held at 10seldon in Woodbridge (10 Selden St., Woodbridge, CT), will benefit the local nonprofit organization Music Intervention Jam, which works to provide a platform for individuals and groups to write, record, and perform original music.
The students in this class worked together, gaining hands-on experience, to put together a live concert event.
Doors open at 7 p.m., and the concert starts at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $20 for general admission, $15 for University of New Haven students (UNewHaven ID will be required at door), and $10 for access to the YouTube livestream of the concert.
