Engineering & Science Summer Institute for Young Women

Would you like to spend some time this summer learning about the great careers available to you? You'll have the opportunity to live on a university campus, working on engineering projects or science experiments in lab.

The Summer Institute is a one-week, residential or day summer program offered by the Tagliatela College of Engineering at the University of New Haven. This experience has been designed for you! The Summer Institute gives you the opportunity to learn in a university environment and experience the excitement of working on an engineering or science project. You will work together in teams with a UNH faculty or staff member. The program will feature fun, exciting, hands-on activities in math, science, computers, engineering, and technology.

You'll actually apply what you're learning in science and math class at school while working on a cool team project! You'll also get a taste of college life. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to find out about careers in engineering and science from your professors.
