The university recommends adding funds to Charger Cash any time you add funds to the card, as Charger Cash can also be used in any of the Dining Service locations if you have expended all your dining dollars- this includes the Cafe, Jazzman's, Skyranch and Pandini's, and the C-Store. Also, Charger Cash remains with your account as long as you are enrolled at the University.
By default, there is NO Charger Cash on your card. You must add money to the Charger Cash fund. Money cannot be transferred from one fund to another.
Adding Funds to Your Card
There are three ways to add money to the Charger Cash account on your account. This account works at all locations that take the Card, including Dining Services. You may add money to your card online. You must log into Blackboard to use this method and pay with a credit or debit card (Visa/Master Card). Your parents can also make guest deposits this way. You may also add money to the card by using either of the add value machines (located in the Marvin K. Peterson Library and Bartels Hall Student Center). These machines take 1,5,10 and 20 dollar bills. The use of 1 dollar bills in the machines is scheduled to be discontinued at a future point. Deposits may also be made by check or credit card at the Bursars Office. Application of payment by check may be subject to verification of available funds.
Charger Cash carries with your account as long as you remain at the university. If you leave or graduate, a refund will be issued minus a 15.00 service fee.
