The University of New Haven’s Commitment to Adult Learners and the Community

The establishment of University College reflects UNH’s continued dedication to meeting the educational needs of adult students and the region’s corporate communities. Programs and courses have been and will be designed specifically with adult learners in mind, focusing on academic excellence, convenience, and flexibility.

University College will support undergraduate and graduate degree programs, customized corporate training, and credit and non-credit certificates for adult learners, as well as English as a Second Language programs. All the degree, customized training, and certificate programs will be the domain of the appropriate academic College within the University of New Haven, thereby ensuring the academic quality and integrity of the programs.

Programs will be delivered in a variety of formats including:

     •    Seven-week fall and spring courses
     •    Five-week summer courses
     •    Two-week winter session intensive courses
     •    Saturday and weekend courses/seminars
     •    Trimester terms
     •    Online and hybrid courses
