Parking Permits Available for 2011-2012 Academic Year
Faculty and staff may begin registering immediately by going to www.newhaven.edu/parking. Everyone needs a new permit.

If your vehicle was registered last year your information will appear at the top of the "Vehicles" tab when ordering a new permit. If there are no changes to make (e.g. new vehicle, change of address, etc.) make sure that the correct vehicle is checked off at the top of the "Vehicles" tab and continue. Faculty and staff can register up to two vehicles. If you did not enter information last year, or there are changes, please enter or correct the information as needed. Please note: if you have changed your address, Human Resources is requesting that you also make appropriate changes by going to "Me & UNH." Recording a change within the parking software does not officially make the change on all University records.

Faculty members have the option of paying a $200 fee for the privilege of parking on campus at any time. Those faculty members choosing this option are required to complete a Payroll Deduction PDF form. This form must be completed and submitted to the UNH Police Department before the permit request can be processed. Once the registration process has been completed and the form has been submitted to the UNH Police Department, the permit request will be processed and the permit will be mailed to the faculty member at his/her home address, or it can be picked up at the UNH Police Department, if that is requested. If the permit is not picked up within one week from the time of the request it will be mailed to the home address.

With the exception of faculty who choose to pay the fee, all faculty and staff will receive either a gold or silver permit. Vehicles with gold permits will be required to park at the New Hall West Lot (P19) or North Campus (P25) on Mondays and Tuesdays. Vehicles with silver permits will be required to park at the New Hall West Lot (P19) or North Campus (P25) on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Once the online registration process is completed, the request will be processed by the UNH Police Department and the permit will be mailed to the applicant at his/her home address, or it can be picked up at the UNH Police Department, if that is requested.

St. Paul’s parking lot and North Campus parking lot (P25) will again be available for those wishing to park and walk. There will be no shuttle service to and from these locations.

The permit must be permanently affixed inside the front windshield in the lower corner of the passenger side.
