New $1,000 Scholarship Available;
Honors Fallen Soldier

The Lint Center for National Security Studies has created a memorial scholarship honoring the legacy of U.S. Army Counterintelligence Special Agent Staff Sergeant Richard Eaton Jr. Sgt. Eaton was the son of the late Rick Eaton, who worked in the University’s Advancement Office, and Sharon Noble Eaton. Sgt. Eaton, who received a Bronze Star for his service, died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq in 2003. The newly created fund will award $1,000 to a student pursuing scholastic study in fields related to alliance building, counterintelligence, cultural understanding and national security.
