Fall Semester Kickoff a Success
Fall semester classes had a successful beginning this past Wednesday, with students navigating their way through the campus. Campus e-mail was new to Tram Pham '10 Dental Hygiene, left, a transfer student from Vietnam, who figured out how to access her UNH e-mail account from a computer at the Library. But the workings of the campus were no mystery to Hannah Ramsay '08 Fire/Arson Investigation, as she headed to her final year of classes. "This is it!," she said as she made her way down the lane past Maxcy Hall.

Once they arrived in Honduras, accompanied by Professor Renee Prajer, they worked in the mornings to provide dental care to more than 65 islanders, including 40 orphans. Their afternoons were spent teaching hygiene to 600 children, all part of a global service initiative that Professor Prajer hopes will draw an increasing number of students who wish to serve.
