UNH Athletes to be Inducted
Into Hall of Fame
Five new names will be added to the University’s Athletics Hall of Fame this Friday, Jan. 23 at Race Brook Country Club in Orange. Women's basketball star Jennifer M. Davis, distinguished UNH alumnus Ralph F. DellaCamera, Jr., All-American pitcher Christopher M. Kuruc, football standout Rob Thompson and UNH baseball legend Frank "Porky" Vieira will be honored at a banquet beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $125 per person. To reserve a seat call the UNH Athletic Department at 203.932.7017.

President Kaplan and Naugatuck Valley Community College President Cocco DeFilippis signed a new Dual Admissions and Core-to-Core Articulation Agreement between the two schools Tuesday Jan. 20. Click here to read more.

Fixing What’s Broken: Listen Up
Log on to WUSB 90.1 FM at 1:15 p.m. on January 27 to hear Gary Fetzer, professor of political science at UNH, discuss politics, the Middle East and international affairs with Jim Lynch, host of "Everything is Broken." Long Island's largest non-commercial radio station, WUSB is located at the University of Stony Brook. Click here to go the WUSB home page.
Running, or Not, for Political Office
Professor Fetzer will also feature prominently in a class on how to, or not to, run for political office, offered by the Office of Continuing Education at UNH. Four scholarships for UNH students will be offered. More information to come.
Organizational Change Management Workshop
UNH Assistant Professor Dr. Stuart Sidle will host the all-day intensive workshop Building Commitment to Organizational Change, for those who are managing people in a change environment, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday Jan. 30 at Mitchell College, New London. The workshop will address challenges around managing major change efforts. Cost is $75 for students and alums. Click here for more information.
