Charger Football Makes Triumphant Return

The University of New Haven football team defeated Lincoln University 33-10 Saturday afternoon in the program's first game since 2003. The Chargers made an impressive opening day performance, totaling 385 yards (138 rushing, 247 passing). They also controlled the clock with nearly 35 minutes of possession and held Lincoln to just 193 yards. UNH's first score of the season came when Michael Herrera connected on a 42-yard field goal with eight minutes remaining in the opening period.   Full recap >> 		UNH Today
