A Day for the Record Books

Move-In Day this past Sunday ushered more than 1,250 freshmen onto campus to settle in before the beginning of classes. At convocation, they listened as Greg Melville, author of the 2009-2010 Common Read selection "Greasy Rider," spoke about environmental awareness, heard a welcome from President Kaplan, and applauded Criminal Justice major Chris DiStefano for saving the life of two French children. Then they bade farewell to parents and began their college careers. 		UNH Today
