Fighting Fire with Fire at
New Levy Investigation Lab

The campus community watched in amazement Monday, May 4 at the inaugural burn of the new state-of-the art Levy Family Fire Investigation Laboratory. The lab, which consists of three 10-by-10 furnished rooms, allows Fire Science students to read burn patterns and determine a fire’s point of origin and cause. Fire professionals from across the state will also use the facility, which was funded by UNH Board of Governors member emeritus Mark S. Levy, president of the Honeywell Fire Group in Northford.
