Sportscaster, Alum Makes a Visit

Rich Coppola, WTIC-Fox 61 sports director and UNH alum, discussed sports journalism in Bryan Lane’s Production Fundamentals class this past Thursday in the Laurel Vlock Center for Convergent Media in Maxcy Hall. He noted that an internship he had while at UNH led to jobs at KC101 radio and ESPN. "Be flexible," he told the students. "Learn to shoot video, learn to write well, master public speaking. That way, no matter what job you’re asked to do, you’ll be able to do it, and do it well."		 David Scheer
