UNH joined more than 1,000 schools nationwide on February 14 by hosting its 2009 “Pink Zone” event to raise funds for breast cancer. UNH fans were asked to wear pink at last Saturday’s games against Franklin Pierce. Click here for game highlights. The Women’s team wore pink shoelaces and warm-up shirts to show their support. Events on campus and in the community lead up to the games, with fundraising proceeds supporting the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund and the Hospital of Saint Raphael's Father Michael J. McGivney Center for Cancer Care.
