 UNH Fights Fire With FireOn Monday, May 4, the University inaugurated the new state-of-the-art Levy Family Fire Investigation Laboratory with a blazing fire. (It was quickly extinguished.) The lab, which consists of three 10-by-10 furnished rooms, allows Fire Science students to read burn patterns and determine the point of origin and cause. Student Film Accepted for Hollywood Black Film Festival;
Submitted for Academy Consideration
Tommy Stanley III ’09 Communication major, will present his short, fictional drama, “Mind of Lo,” at the 10th Annual Hollywood Black Film Festival, June 2-7, 2009, and the Buffalo Niagara Film Festival, May 1-10, 2009. "Mind of Lo" has also been submitted for consideration by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, best known for its annual Oscar telecast. Read more about Stanley’s film. |
