Involvement

Stephen is the promotions director of UNH’s student-run radio station, WNHU 88.7 FM, and he is the trombone section leader in the marching band. He also serves as vice president of theHonors Student Council and has performed in at least one theater production each semester he has been on campus, most recently playing a phantom in the Rocky Horror Show. Last summer, he volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America as part of UNH’s President’s Public Service Fellowship

Hope For the Future

He plans to pursue a master’s degree in forensic science. “I hope to pursue a career in which I can serve the community, whether it is within the realm of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), communication or scouting.”

Why He is Grateful

“Without the support I have received, there is no way I would have been able to afford to go to the University of New Haven,” he said. “I would have missed out on one of the best forensic science programs in the country and missed out on being in one of the fastest growing marching bands in the East, among the other countless great experiences I have had here. Scholarship support is what drives me to be the best I can be in and out of the classroom.”
