Make a Memorial Gift

Benefactors often choose to memorialize or honor a special person by making a gift in their name. To make a “memorial” or “in honor” gift, please mail your check, payable to the University of New Haven, to:

Please include with your contribution the honoree’s name and address, so that the University may notify that person of your thoughtfulness. In the case of a deceased honoree, please also include the names and addresses of any family members to whom you would like a notification sent, as well as their relationship to the deceased.

Typically, an acknowledgement letter will be sent to the donor and then a letter will be sent to the honoree or honoree’s family. That letter will include the donor’s name and address, but not the gift amount.
