Substance Free Living Learning Community

The Substance Free Living Learning Community (LLC) will provide a fun and exciting residential environment for students that share similar lifestyle values.

While the university prohibits underage drinking, smoking and the use of illegal drugs in all residence halls, the Substance Free LLC is offered to students who make a commitment to live substance free. Residents in the LLC represent varying majors, campus interests, and backgrounds yet share similar values. Students in the LLC will build trusting relationships, be able to focus on their studies, and transition to the academic rigors and social venues at the University of New Haven in a comfortable, good, clean fun environment.

The family-like, social environment encompasses open doors, smiling faces, and the feeling that there is always somebody to talk to or spend time with in a substance free arena. The common area in the residence hall serves as a welcoming hub for residents and the activities offered are endless!
