Now that you have decided to advance your education, you may need to revisit you career goals as you progress through a graduate degree. Although you have selected a specific area of study, you may be at the point where reassessment of the new knowledge and skills built through education and hands-on experience is needed. The Career Development Center offers a career assessment called FOCUS that can analyze your interests, abilities, values and personality and can suggest some specific career areas to explore. It is recommended that you meet with a member of the Career Development Center staff after you take FOCUS to review your results in more depth.
Information on FOCUS can be found HERE
Also, you can make an appointment with a Career Advisor independently of using FOCUS to discuss your career goals in greater detail.
