Being a part of a Greek lettered organization is a once in a lifetime experience. You will make friends for a lifetime, and have a family atmosphere away from home. Becoming a part of the University of New Haven's Greek community will provide you with many leadership opportunities, along with community service opportunities. Greek life is one of the best ways to get involved both within the University and within the community.
JOIN US! The first step to becoming a member of a fraternity or sorority is to participate in the Recruitment process (formerly known as RUSH). Through this process, you will discover what Greek Life has to offer, make new friends, and become acquainted with the University of New Haven community.
At UNH, we have both local and national fraternities and sororities. Local fraternities and sororities are not part of a national organization, although its alumni/alumnae may live across the country and remain involved with the collegiate chapter. National fraternities and sororities are overseen by a National Headquarters and have collegiate chapter affiliates across the country or world.
