  4. LAST YEAR

Last year, the kick-off to the program was the "Dare to Dream It!" Luncheon.  The luncheon was highlighted by a keynote speaker well-versed in transition issues for parents of students who formerly held an IEP or 504 Plan in high school.  Our student leaders also shared the differences in expectations in college versus those in high school with the students.

Parents & Students were both welcome and encouraged to attend the orientation Luncheon.  Parents/guardians had the opportunity to say good bye to their students at a Cake Social. Students started their first full day at college with the "Believe It! and Achieve It!" Breakfast, where they interacted with an inspiring student panel. Breakfast was followed by interactive workshops, information regarding accommodations and services, and loads of fun opportunities to get to know each another, the DREAM Team and other members of the campus community.
