What Is The U-Pass?
The U-Pass is a special transportation pass for University of New Haven resident students that is valid for unlimited trips during the fall and spring semesters on all CTTRANSIT local buses. The U-Pass gives you transportation freedom with no out-of-pocket expense. How does it work? When boarding the bus, show the driver your valid Student ID and insert your U-Pass card into the machine. Now sit back and enjoy your ride. A block before your stop, pull the signal cord to notify the driver you want to exit the bus.
The 2011-12 U-Pass are in and available for pick-up at the following locations:
- All undergraduate resident students will receive their U-Pass in their key packets. Lost U-Pass must be reported to your RD/RA or to the Office of Residential Life (Bixler Hall) immediately.
- All graduate and commuter students must pick up their U-Pass from Campus Police. Commuter and graduate students must demonstrate a need in order to receive this benefit (no other transportation to and from campus). The U-Pass is intended for residential students but may be offered to commuters based on need.
U-Pass are valid per semester for undergraduate students and per trimester for graduate students.
