A female student, who resides at Forest Hills, reported that she was approached by an unknown B/M in his late 20s, operating a silver car, while she was walking on Simon Place at approx. 7:30 PM on Wednesday, 2-27-08. The subject offered the student a ride. When the student declined the subject continued to try to engage her in conversation, and followed her for a short distance before driving off. There is no further description of the subject or the vehicle.

All students are advised to remain alert and to utilize the Dattco shuttle and the UNH Courtesy Van whenever possible. If you are walking and you are approached use your cell phone to call 9-1-1 or the UNH Police Department at 932.7070 (emergency number). Try to get the best description of the subject and the vehicle, including license plate number and state.
