Attend Mandatory International Student Orientation

The International Services Office (ISO) hosts mandatory orientation for all international students attending the University of New Haven. In order to have your SEVIS record activated and your immigration status validated, all students must attend the immigration document check-in and international student orientation. 

The orientation sessions vary based on your status as an undergraduate or graduate student. Please make note of the dates below and plan to attend your orientation session.

New International Undergraduate Student Check-in, Placement Testing and Orientation – Monday, August 17, 2015 at 8:30 am

  • You must ensure your arrival at the University prior to 8:30 in the morning on Monday, August 17, 2015.
  • All students must bring the completed ISO Student Check-in form, their original immigration documents and clear, scanned copies (passport, visa, I-94, all previous I-20s, including original I-20 or original DS-2019, and dependent's I-20s or DS-2019).

New International Graduate Student Orientation – Tuesday, August 18, 2015

  • Early immigration check-in for new international graduate students begins on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 on campus. 
  • You must ensure your arrival at the University prior to 8:30 in the morning on Tuesday, August 18, 2015.
  • All students must bring the completed ISO Student Check-in form (add hyperlink), their original immigration documents and clear, scanned copies (passport, visa, I-94, all previous I-20s, including original I-20 or original DS-2019, and dependent's I-20s or DS-2019).
