On February 1, 2012, The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, The Governor’s Prevention Partnership, Connecticut State Police, the University of New Haven, and the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of Connecticut, Inc. announced the Fifth Annual WSWC Public Service Announcement (PSA) Contest For Connecticut’s College Students to Create a 30 second Television PSA Designed to Reduce Underage Drinking in Connecticut. The announcement took place in the Alumni Lounge on the UNH campus.
Speakers were Commissioner William Rubenstein, Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection; Peter Berdon, Executive Director; Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of Connecticut; Jill Spineti, Chief Executive Officer, The Governor’s Prevention Partnership; Lt. J. Paul Vance; Connecticut State Police; Dr. Danielle Moreggi, Staff Psychologist, Counseling & Psychological Services; University of New Haven; and Professor Paul Falcone, PSA Team Advisor and Advisor of 2011 3rd place PSA winner; University of New Haven.
