Nepal-U.S.A. Relations and Business Opportunities
WHO: Shankar Sharma, Ambassador of Nepal to the United States has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Hawaii. He was vice-chairman of the National Planning Commission in Nepal from 2002 to 2006 and worked as a consultant to the Constitution Committee on "Distribution of Natural Resources, Economic Rights and Public Revenue" in helping to draft the new Constitution of Nepal. Sharma is the author or editor of eight books and more than 50 articles on the economy, energy and the environment of the Asia-Pacific region including Nepal.
