New Haven Register, March 2, 2013: UNH professor emeritus Joel Marks has filed a petition to help spur funding for the study of asteroids, comets and meteors colliding with or exploding over Earth. The online petition pushes the federal government to fully fund a study of “near Earth objects” orbiting around earth and ways to mitigate a disaster.
