The Columbus Dispatch, March 4, 2013: UNH lecturer and anthropologist Joseph Wilson debunks the claim of archaeological caves in Illinois, specifically Burrows Cave. He notes, in fact, "there is no geological evidence of any caves” in that part of Illinois and that the artifacts claimed to come from Burrows Cave are obvious fakes.
