New Haven Register, February 15, 2013: A new wave of recently-promoted New Haven police sergeants graduated from the department’s inaugural command college and leadership school program. The program was formed with the assistance of UNH and is believed to be the first of its kind in the nation, said UNH Associate Professor of Criminal Justice John DeCarlo, who helped organize the program.
