New Haven Register, January 23, 2013: A complex of retail and office space is planned for the site of the former Forest Theatre in Allingtown, which has been bare since the landmark building was demolished in 2011. "...there’s a real opportunity to create and coalesce something that can be identified as a center for the Allingtown district and an entryway to the University of New Haven,” said Gerald Kagan, of New Haven-based KAGAN Architecture, which is designing the development.
