New Haven Register, December 28, 2012: UNH is distributing a $600,000 grant via engineering scholarships, in hopes of helping students who normally work to support themselves and keeping more in the program. According to engineering professor Jean Nocito-Gobel, there’s a growing demand for engineers and more of a focus in academia on science, technology, engineering and math education.
