New Haven Register, December 18, 2012: More than 200 high school athletes, including the UNH men’s hockey and lacrosse clubs, traveled to Newtown to provide comfort to a community reeling from the Sandy Hook tragedy. Young children played basketball, soccer and other sports with high school and college students in an effort to get their minds off of the devastation.
