Record Journal, November 27, 2012: State and federal officials Tuesday unveiled a new approach to gun violence in Connecticut — warn groups like gangs and drug crews of the legal consequences, but also offer potential offenders a way out. The plan is targeted at larger cities, but UNH professor and CT undersecretary for criminal justice policy Mike Lawlor says smaller cities could benefit in the future.
