Meriden Record-Journal, November 15, 2012: An investigation paid for by the city of Meriden, Conn. found no evidence of nepotism or undue influence within the Police Department, but some are calling that conclusion into question after the police chief’s son was indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury on allegations of police brutality. UNH professor John DeCarlo a former police chief, said any sanctions against the chief would depend on the investigation.
