New Haven Register, June 16, 2012: UNH will join a comprehensive effort by federal and state governments working with academic institutions to map the floor of Long Island Sound to guide future decisions regarding its uses. Professor Roman Zajac, who heads UNH’s graduate program in environmental science, notes, "What we hope to come of this is a comprehensive mapping of the habitats.”
