Eastern Iowa Life, April 3, 2012: Ayman Amer '08 SCD will present a lecture on income inequality at Mount Mercy University in Iowa. Currently associate professor of economics at Mount Mercy, Amer will present descriptive statistics and empirical explanations of the rising income inequality in the United States, a phenomenon most visible in 2007, when the top 10 percent of the population took in approximately half of all U.S. income.
