CT Mirror, July 26, 2011: UNH graduate student Robert Felder participates in a mentoring program that targets young black and Latino males - groups that educators call the achievement gap. The program, known as Developing Tomorrow's Professionals, is in its fifth year and has prepared about 180 young men for college. "The things we are teaching them are things they are missing in school," says Felder.
