Mautner is currently conducting stress reduction classes for the Stress Reduction Program to Reduce Abnormal Heart Rhythms Treated with Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (the RISTA cardiac study) at Yale University. Techniques include meditation, visualization, self-hypnosis, autogenics, communications skills and problem-solving strategies.
