West Haven, Conn., April 4, 2007 - Law enforcement personnel from across the nation will gather for the 2007 Arnold Markle Symposium, "Serial Killers, Serial Crimes," on April 9 and10, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Foxwoods Resort Casino, in Ledyard, Conn. The Markle Symposium is sponsored annually by the Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science at the University of New Haven, and has grown to become New England's premier event at which law enforcement officials, forensic scientists and attorneys learn the latest techniques and strategies from nationally known professionals.
The 2007 Arnold Markle Symposium speakers include such renowned experts as Dr. Henry C. Lee, Dr. Michael Baden, Dr. Michael Rieders, Dr. Robert Keppel, Dr. Thomas Johnson, Vernon Geberty, Chief State's Attorney Kevin Kane, Sergeant John Johnson, S.A. John McNamara, and noted author Dr. Katherine Ramsland, whose most recent works include "The CSI Effect" and "Inside the Minds of Serial Killers."
