The University of New Haven (UNH) Office of Experiential Learning and Education and the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences will host a public lecture entitled: “Multilingualism and Multiculturalism in Europe and USA: A Challenge for the Modern Societies,” with Alfio Russo, Ph.D., director of the Education Office at the Consulate General of Italy in New York. The event is free and open to the public.

Details:
Russo is responsible for the promotion of Italian language and culture for the jurisdiction of the Consulate General of Italy of New York, which includes Connecticut, New Jersey and New York. His primary responsibilities include training Italian teachers in the tri-state area, collaborating with Italian and local universities to develop teacher workshops and participating in conferences to support foreign language teaching. He received his Ph.D. in psychotherapy from Universita' Degli Studi Di Palermo in Palermo, Italy.
