There are four student group study rooms located on the Library's entry level. These rooms can be used by groups of two or more students only. Use of all study rooms is limited to currently enrolled University of New Haven students. As academic space, students use the rooms to work in groups on class projects, research assignments, presentations, and problem sets or for subject-specific study groups.
University of New Haven students can make reservations in advance by coming to the Circulation Desk or by calling library staff at 203-932-7197.
A reservation request form must be filled out and signed at the Circulation Desk, a current University of New Haven ID must be presented, and a minimum of two members of the group must be present at the time of occupying the group study room. The student who signs the reservation request form is responsible for damages or policy violations for all members in his or her group.
The room may be used for three (3) hours at a time. If no other group is waiting for a room, or has reserved the room, it may be renewed for another three (3) hour block. If the room is in poor condition upon arrival, please report this to Circulation Staff at once. No food is allowed; drinks are permitted in non-spill containers. Disruptive conduct, such as loud talking, excessive noise, and unruly behavior, is not allowed and will result in loss of privileges for all members of the group.
