Academic Departments

The Tagliatela College of Engineering is comprised of four units referred to as departments and a division. 

The faculty includes 32 full-time members with diverse backgrounds and experiences, and 27 highly experienced adjunct faculty members drawn from area industry and professional groups. Our faculty strives to provide the best engineering and applied science education to make our graduates ready for the high-paying jobs that they have been securing in Connecticut and nationally. 

More than 95% of our full-time faculty hold a Ph.D., the appropriate terminal degree in their field.  The adjunct faculty who are professionals (engineers, scientists, lawyers, entrepreneurs, and managers) from the areas of business and industry are selected strategically to best serve our students and the strategic directions of the College.
