REFERENCIA LATINA.

EBSCO's Referencia Latina is a general reference resource for Spanish speakers covering issues of particular relevance for Latin America, Spain and the United States. Designed to assist Spanish speakers with their general research needs, Referencia Latina includes a 49,000 entry encyclopedia, 2,500 evidence-based, graphical health reports and 50,000 images with Spanish-language captions. The database also contains a Spanish-English dictionary, an atlas consisting of 331 maps, over 100 reference books and dozens of general interest magazines. Daily updates ensure availability of current articles from a dozen prominent newspapers from 10 Latin American countries including Peru, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Venezuela, Argentina and Costa Rica. Referencia Latina features a dedicated, Spanish-language interface that makes content readily accessible to non-English speakers with limited online research experience


RIA CHECKPOINT

A database of tax accounting information, which provides access to accounting literature, including state and federal law relating to accounting.

SocINDEX with full-text

SocINDEX with Full Text from EBSCOHost is the world's most comprehensive and highest quality sociology research database. The database features more than 2,066,400 records with subject headings from a 19,750+ term sociological thesaurus designed by subject experts and expert lexicographers. SocINDEX with Full Text contains full text for 777 journals dating back to 1908. This database also includes full text for more than 820 books and monographs, and full text for 13,947 conference papers.

TEACHER REFERENCE CENTER (Ebsco)

Teacher Reference Center provides indexing and abstracts for 280 periodicals. In addition, 96% of journals indexed in the database are peer-reviewed. Topics include: Assessment, Best Practices, Continuing Education, Current Pedagogical Research, Curriculum Development, Elementary Education, Higher Education, Instructional Media, Language Arts, Literacy Standards, School Administration, Science & Mathematics, and Teacher Education.

TESTS IN PRINT

This is a "comprehensive bibliography to all known commercially available tests that are currently in print in the English language." As with Mental Measurements Yearbook, it is published by the Buros Institute of Mental Measurements at the University of Nebraska. Test in Print provides information on test prices, purpose and target audience, publisher, whether it is in print, authors, and more. It also directs users to reviews found in Mental Measurements Yearbook.

VALUE LINE

Value Line is one of the most important resources in the field of investment. It provides up-to-date information on stocks, mutual funds, and other investment products. Beyond the content of its databases, Value Line offers several educational tools including guides on using the Investment Survey to instruction on investment basics, investment strategies, how to build a portfolio, and buying and selling stocks to meet established goals.
