RIA CHECKPOINT

A database of tax accounting information, which provides access to accounting literature, including state and federal law relating to accounting.

Please Note: You need to register before you can log in to use the database by going to: RIA Checkpoint First Time Sign Up. Note that you will need to register from a computer on the campus network, and that the e-mail you provide when registering cannot be from Yahoo!, Hotmail, AOL, or other free e-mail addresses. Your UNH e-mail account will work. You will most likely need to re-register your account for each semester or term, which can be quickly accomplished by going to RIA Checkpoint First Time Sign Up.

STAT-USA

STAT-USA includes SOTN (State of the Nation), NTDB (National Trade Data Bank) and GLOBUS. Contains domestic and international trade and market information, including country-specific information, industry-specific information, and industry-country information, as well as economic indicators. The Foreign Traders Index identifies foreign firms seeking to import U.S. products. The World Factbook, U.S. Global Trade Outlook, A Basic Guide to Exporting, Background NotesBusiness America, and Country Commercial Guides are some of the publications that are available in full text. Depository.

TESTS IN PRINT

This is a "comprehensive bibliography to all known commercially available tests that are currently in print in the English language." As with Mental Measurements Yearbook, it is published by the Buros Institute of Mental Measurements at the University of Nebraska. Test in Print provides information on test prices, purpose and target audience, publisher, whether it is in print, authors, and more. It also directs users to reviews found in Mental Measurements Yearbook.

TIA (TRAVEL INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA)

The Travel Industry Association of America's online electronic membership directory, executive summaries of research reports, updates on TIA's published statistical summaries such as Current Travel Indicators, State Tourism Office budgets, TIA's Travel Forecast and International Market Share Indicator.

USA TRADE ONLINE

A database of domestic import and export information. Data can be downloaded.

Access: Depository. Available in Library only, on Terminals 1 or 2.  Available to the general public.


VALUE LINE

Value Line is one of the most important resources in the field of investment. It provides up-to-date information on stocks, mutual funds, and other investment products. Beyond the content of its databases, Value Line offers several educational tools including guides on using the Investment Survey to instruction on investment basics, investment strategies, how to build a portfolio, and buying and selling stocks to meet established goals.
