I completed my undergraduate studies (B.S. Biology) from Villanova University. I went on to attend the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, OH where I earned my medical degree (D.P.M.) in Podiatry. After graduation, I completed a clinical residency at Yale Podiatry in Connecticut and a surgical residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Maryland. For many years, I enjoyed both a private practice as well as a teaching career at the collegiate level. My area of interest is in Human Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, and Medical Microbiology. I have been a professor at Gateway Community College in New Haven, CT since 1987 and a Physician-in-Residence (PIR) in the Department of Biology & Environmental Science at the University of New Haven since 1996.
