Dr. Miranda Lee is currently an assistant professor for the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of New Haven. She teaches courses in introduction to hospitality and tourism, lodging operations, front office procedures, gaming and casino management, and foodservice management. Her primary research areas of interest include hospitality web designs, knowledge and decision support systems, and movies impacts on tourism.
With the economic growth in Asia, Dr. Lee hopes that students can benefit from her background by understanding different cultures and values. Dr. Lee received her master degree in Hospitality and Tourism from Purdue University and her Ph.D. in Hospitality Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
