Dr. Christopher Martinez is an assistant professor of computer engineering. He teaches in the areas of digital design and embedded systems.
Dr. Martinez strongly believes in having students engage in complex projects to enhance learning in the classroom and for students to be involved in research. Dr. Martinez and his students have been conducting research in the areas of power analysis for embedded systems, computer architecture design, robotics, and human-computer interaction. He earned his B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin and both M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
